Pastor of Ministry Mobilization, Staff
Pastor John R. Wuiff

[last name is pronounced ‘view’]
(Bachelor of Theology, Master of Divinity)

I have been serving Jesus Christ as Pastor for over 40 years in North America. The Ministry Team at MCC is amazing to work with as we follow Jesus Christ. My role is to help start and develop new ministries at MCC while equipping future leaders of the Church so they can realize God’s vision and purpose in their lives.

The Lord told us in Proverbs 4:23 to “watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” How do we ‘watch over’ our hearts? By keeping our hearts according to God’s Word. A lifetime of studying the Word of God, and growing in love for the Lord has led Beth in a desire that others, too, may know the depth of the riches of God’s grace and love through knowing God in His Word. The desire of the teaching ministry at MCC is that all believers would have a transformed life by knowing God through His Word.

"Infuse their Roots". This was the word God spoke to me years ago when He asked me to homeschool my own children; and when the door opened to lead the Youth Group at MCC, this message was even more clear. In addition to having a blast with these amazing teens; God has placed a keen awareness in my heart to step as He leads... to "infuse the roots" of our teens so they are equipped to stand under the pressures of today's culture and not only have the knowledge and tools to survive, but to thrive - teaching others along the way about the saving Power and Love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

This ministry is about connecting people, creating an environment where lasting friendships are made in a social setting.
It is about celebrating Gods Goodness and Faithfulness in major events and simple gatherings such as potlucks.
Our hope in these social settings is to create a feeling of family and belonging.

Jesus has commanded us to love one another as He has loved us. (John 13:34) It is my desire to be the "hands and feet of Jesus" to show that love within the church and outside of the church. That is what the Compassion Team is about.

I believe my role as an elder is to help guide, protect, and care for the spiritual and physical needs of the members and give oversight to the on-going vision of the congregation.
I have served as an elder in several other churches in the past, and those experiences have helped prepare me to serve here at MCC.

Jesus said to him: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart ,with all your soul ,and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets”.
Matthew 22:37-40
As chair of LT, my role is to give Ministry leaders and administration the opportunity to share and to discuss their roles in fulfilling the Great commandments.
